Dementia Symptom Perspectives: Published by Susan Milo Maroulis · October 4, 2015 ·

I have Lewy Body- so I’m not quite as articulate as I used to be.
But I was thinking this morning-

this is the best time of my life.

By sharing my struggles- I’ve learned so much from others.
And in my learning- I’ve been able to help others.

Nothing has ever made me happier than to be of value to others.

And I am valuable.
There is still advice to share- someone to comfort- friends to laugh with.

I say life is pretty damn good.

Thank God for the fighters of dementia I’ve met over the past few years.
They set me on a path of living each day the best I can-
even if that’s just getting the toothpaste on the brush & some makeup on my face!

Good for me!
I love the life I have.
