from Matthew Oliver during September 2015
…
I may have Alzheimers, but it doesn’t have me. So many people have already left & forgotten me…
But I am still here & I am still me.
I am fighting this & plan to as long as it takes.
Thanks to the very few people that message me, that call me,
& that care about/love me unconditionally.
This means more than you will ever know.
If it’s my choice I will be around for a very long time. But we need a cure ASAP!
Time is precious & honestly I don’t know how long I have. I take each day as they come & make memories everyday as much as I can.
Thank you for the ones that are going to walk with me in the Alzheimer’s Walk in Dallas on September 26th. This is something close to my heart & family.
