I was diagnosed with vascular dementia late last year (early onset, I’m 62) ... being quite aware of myself I’m preparing for the year’s to come..

This morning deep down in a long ago memory, I “heard” a song “I love you in the morning, and in the afternoon” are some of the words..

So, I just rang my daughter because I heard her singing it to her 1st child a while ago. My daughter Sarah, reminded me, that I once told her that I knew that song from a long time ago..

So what I’ve done is, asked Sarah,
should the time come that I am no longer very responsive, to sing this song to me,
because it’s not a brain memory but rather, a memory in my “body memory” that brings back love and warmth..

Anyway, just sharing again, about how I’m preparing..
