Tru here, with pictorial reminders.
This is a time full of tension, turmoil … and anger all around us,
producing chaos of clashing sights, sounds, and emotions.
… so …
What do YOU do to calm the chaos
and quiet the cacophony of current pressures?
.
Personally, i totally avoid “news”;
at this stage in my life,
i see no constructive outcome for adding that pressure into my cognitive difficulties.
i also try to avoid folks who are tightly-wound like a clock-spring.
… i BRIEFLY focus on whatever stressors are winding my own clock,
to recognize, problem-solve, and make sure care-partners are aware of the needs.
Then
… purposely and with self-discipline
i do something to provide expression (exhale) of those stressors.
Write about them,
draw or “doodle” about them,
and “exhale” that pressure,
before i purposely and with self discipline CHANGE my focus.
.
. inhale and EXHALE … x3 (three deep cleansing breaths)
.
do something with that stress-energy
. walk, or exercise to wear off that stress-energy
((video above at >> https://youtu.be/Fcv-CtYdrwE ))
… THEN …
write
soothing music

Thank you Truthful. Wonderful reminders of how to bring calmness, and sit quietly with Jesus in silence, and with humility. I listened to you play your instrument, and I felt your peace.
