The Dementia Action Alliance is launching a national juried Arts Fest to highlight the vibrant lives and many abilities and creative talents individuals continue to have while living with dementia.  Dementia is widely misunderstood and stigmatized which negatively affects the lives of individuals and families living with dementia. The annual Arts Fest aims to enhance understanding about living with dementia.

 

The accepted juried artworks will be exhibited during the 2019 National Re-Imagining Dementia Conference at the Westin Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta, GA June 20 ~ 22, 2019.

 

We seek entries from individuals living with dementia. Entries are open to ceramics, drawings, paintings, photographs, printmaking, collage and mixed-media, sculptures, watercolors, jewelry design, textiles, quilts, and woodworking.
