After nearly three years away from blogging, Truthful Loving Kindness has resumed writing due to a regained access to blog administration. Despite cognitive decline, the blog has garnered significant views. Improvements in personal health and ongoing construction projects are highlighted, along with a focus on maintaining hope while managing dementia.

The collective knowledge and caring spirit of those who write and share their experiences should not need to face this vicious criticism for speaking their truth.
Do these format changes make understanding more difficult, or easier for my friends with dementia ??
i dont think dementia has ability to change the CORE nature of our “person”, but can highly influence the “perspective” and PERCEIVED “personality”
This Dementia Trail is a very bumpy trail with tangles of thistles!! As we go, we can sign-post some of the dangers for those following behind, and I think that is what we do with our writings. Coaches & on-lookers can observe and assist, but we on the Dementia Trail itself have a unique perspective. Someday there will be a cure, and we hope the trail will not last long enough to become a well-worn path. But in the meantime … Thank you, Harry, for continuing to shine the light on your path, in order for us to better see our own paths.
