Newest challenge is lack of word recognition. Words flow over me and around me, but I do not recognize them.
Summary: EACH PERSON’S NEEDS ARE DIFFERENT. Yes; we all need social interaction. However, As an introvert … Any interaction (especially any sound-interaction) needs to be sandwiched by a larger time period that I am alone in the silence. So what is “extraversion” or “introversion”, and why does it make a difference in my dementia symptoms or how they need to be handled?
I do all the best practices but I cannot sleep.
SUMMARY: Erase/re-write skills are malfunctioning, so I am poor at task-transition. Suggest pre-planning with steps involved. Personally, focus on gratitude does not mean that I negate or even ignore grief. Instead I mindfully lean into the grief in order to ENABLE an attitude of gratitude. I am thankful for you, dear reader. You give me hope … that these experiences can become part of resource tools to enrich the relationships that are building blocks for all community.
